Personal Quote: A can be the Best if I strive to be the Best Tools of the Trade: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Quark, Air brushing, Background: Been drawing since I was 4 years old I started drawing whatever I saw.. then i started doing my own charcters but it was more American style. I started drawing Japanese Anime like in the 6 grade and that is when I found what I wanted to do. Eventually I got better by teaching myself by drawing what I saw on T.V, but when I felt I could draw Japanese animation well, I decided to do more black charcters because I felt we didnt have as many black leading chracters..especially in anime..(and if they drew a black charcter in Anime it would be extremely dark with big lips and we all know african americans come in all shades)...plus I felt that it was crazy to draw Japanese characters and background and never been over to Japan, so I drew what I know being raised in a urban envorinment... That is where my style of drawing formed...people are calling it Hip Hop Anime or Hip Hop Manga. My style is still developing and hopefully it will be noticed!  |
